STCW
Simsea offers two types of STCW courses for nautical personnel.; Bridge Recourse Management (BRM) and ESDIS/AIS. Both courses consists of full scale simulator exercises and practical oriented theoretical topics necessary for refreshing the understanding of technical and behavioural issues. Both courses are approved by NMA according to STCW 2010. |

DP
Simsea offers DP training for all types of ships and any floating offshore installation. Two of the curses, DP Induction and DP Advanced are offered at a continuous basis while DP Sea time reduction is offered at request. |

Offshore
Simsea offers a wide range of courses for different offshore operations and for different types of personnel. All courses courses consist of full scale simulator exercises and practical oriented theoretical topics necessary for refreshing the understanding of technical and behavioural issues.
During 2012 we will offer three types of courses:
-Anchor handling courses for ship teams, newcomers and crises handling for the more experienced teams. :
-Skill development training for offshore crane operators both at offshore vessels and at rigs and platforms.
-Different types of ROV courses for newcomers all well as more experienced ROV pilots. |

Navigation in Norwegian costal waters
Simsea is an approved supplier of a special designed course in coastal navigation. Candidates that have taken this course can, on certain conditions, work as duty officer onboard ships in Norwegian coastal waters without Pilot Exemption Certificate. The course is a good way to prepare for the Pilot Exemption Certificate test.

Rig
Simsea is an approved vendor of mandatory courses for floating oil rigs. Theses courses are:
M-7: Rig stability
M-9: Rig move
M-10: Rig maneuvering
In addition we offer skill development training for rig based crane operators.
